You see a red house and you want to paint it black?
Yes. They pop in otherwise fruity pastel neighborhoods.
It depends on the style of the house itself.
I'd never do it but I'm okay with other people doing it.
Black houses? Ugh, how horrid!

OMG -- there's wood under my vinyl siding! What should I do?
Rip off a few pieces in the back and have a looksee. No harm, no foul!
Save up and hire a pro in case there's damage underneath.
Removing it will be a huge hassle. (Just clean the siding.)
Why wait, DIYer? Take it off! Take it all off!
